LINGERIE CARE

DO

  • Wash by hand, preferably in lukewarm water. This is gentlest for delicate fabrics such as lace, silk and mesh.

  • Use a mild, perfume-free soap or special detergent for delicate laundry.

  • Pat dry with a towel after washing. Never wring - this distorts elastic and fabric.

  • Allow to air dry flat, preferably on a towel or drying rack, out of direct sun.

  • Wear your lingerie alternately to allow the elastic to spring back and not overload the fabric.

  • Close hooks before washing or storing to prevent hooks in other fabrics.

  • Traveling with lingerie? Store delicate pieces in a separate laundry bag or pouch for protection.

DON'T

  • Do not wash lingerie in the washing machine unless as a last resort and then only in a laundry bag, on a fine wash cycle with cold water.

  • Never put lingerie in the dryer. Heat damages elastic and fine fabrics, greatly shortening their lifespan.

  • Do not wring or squeeze hard. This will deform shapes and cause the elastic to lose its strength.

  • Do not use bleach, fabric softener or harsh detergents. They affect the delicate fibers.

  • Do not soak lingerie for long periods of time. Too long contact with water can damage seams and elastic.

  • Never store lingerie moist. This can lead to mold, odors or discoloration.

  • Avoid direct contact with body lotions, perfumes or oils just before wearing - they can damage fabrics or cause stains.

  • Don't stuff lingerie in drawers or suitcases. This distorts cups, lace and fine finishes.

keep in mind

Fine materials such as lace, silk and mesh require extra care. They are delicate and can be more easily damaged by rough handling or contact.

Dark or bright colors may run slightly off during the first few washes. Therefore, wash new lingerie preferably separately.

Avoid contact with rough surfaces, zippers or Velcro. These can cause snags in the fabric or lace.

Creams, perfumes and oils can stain or corrode the material. So apply these before putting on your lingerie and let them soak in well.

Heat sources such as dryers, heaters or direct sunlight can affect elasticity and cause colors to fade.

Lingerie is not shapewear or sportswear. Intensive wear with lots of movement or crowding can cause faster wear.

Storage tip: Lay lingerie flat or use a drawer divider. This keeps cups, underwires and finishes in nice shape.

Hygienic return policy: worn or washed lingerie cannot be returned.
